Frequently Asked Questions

Don't see your question? I'd love to help. Please reach out anytime.

* Do I need yoga experience?

Not at all. Classes are designed to be gentle, welcoming, and accessible to all experience levels.

* What should I bring?

A large beach towel or blanket, water, and any props that help you feel comfortable, such as a small pillow or blanket. Props are always optional.

* Where are classes held?

Most classes are held at Beach Access #14 on Calhoun Drive in Garden City, South Carolina, unless otherwise noted.

* How do I reserve my spot?

Reserve your place through the class registration page. Your donation secures your space in class.

* What if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Your safety and comfort are always the priority. Please check the Class Cancellations & Updates page before leaving home, especially when weather is uncertain.

* What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and relax easily. Bare feet are encouraged.

* Is this practice physically demanding?

No. Classes emphasize gentle movement, mindful breathing, meditation, and relaxation. You're always encouraged to listen to your body and participate at your own comfort level.

* Can I modify movements?

Absolutely. Every practice is an invitation—not a performance. Rest whenever you need to, and modify movements to suit your body.

* Is this the right class if I'm dealing with stress or chronic tension?

Many students come seeking a calmer, more restorative practice. While every experience is unique, classes are designed to help you slow down, relax, and reconnect with yourself.

* What if I have a health condition or injury?

If you have concerns about participating, please consult your healthcare provider before attending. During class, always honor your body's limits and choose movements that feel safe and comfortable.

* What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Each reserved space is held especially for you. Donations are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class if you are unable to attend. If a class is cancelled by Hope due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, your donation will be automatically refunded.
